KAGAWA (TR) – Kagawa Prefectural Police final week arrested a 45-year-old employees member for allegedly putting in a hidden digital camera in a girls’s restroom on the metropolis corridor for Takamatsu City, studies the Sankei Shimbun (Dec. 12).
At round 6:30 p.m. on December 8, Kenji Tanigashi, 45, allegedly put in a small digital camera set to file tosatsu (voyeur) video footage within the girls’s employees restroom on the metropolis corridor.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of violating the Kagawa Prefecture Nuisance Prevention Ordinance on December 12, Tanigashi admitted to the allegations.
Tanigashi is a bit chief within the Citizen Affairs Division of Takamatsu City on the Takamatsu-Kita Police Station.
According to police, a metropolis corridor worker referred to as police on December 8 to report, “A small camera has been installed behind the toilet in the women’s restroom.”
Tanigashi turned himself in on December 11.
Hideto Onishi, the mayor of Takamatsu City, issued a press release. He stated, “This has damaged the trust of our citizens, and we take this very seriously and offer our sincere apologies. We will take strict action once we have determined the facts.”
