A zoo in Toyama, Japan, treated their capybara to a typical Japanese warm citron bathroom to assist them with the winter months, as seen onSaturday
The huge rats were seen appreciating the sauna bath, swimming amongst loads of drifting yuzu, a japanese citrus fruit, as pleased site visitors at the Toyama Municipal Family Park Zoo viewed.
“‘Yuzuyu’, a hot citron bath is a Japanese tradition, taken on the shortest day in the winter. This helps survive the whole winter in good health without catching a cold. Therefore, in our zoo, we set ‘Yuzuyus’ on Saturday and Sunday,” claimed zoo manager Hitoshi Murai claimed.
Originally from the Amazon, capybara are adjusted to reside in the exotic jungle, which is why the zoo’s administration established the outdoors jacuzzi to assist them withstand the chilly Japanese winter months, as the remainder of their unit is covered in snow.
