Police plan to arrest a Japanese physician in his 60s who lives within the United States and is suspected of spraying an oil-like liquid at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Chiba Prefecture in 2015, with the suspect anticipated to reach in Japan as early as March 4th, investigators mentioned.
The case dates again to 2015, when an oil-like substance was sprayed on constructions designated as necessary cultural properties at Naritasan Shinshoji Temple in Chiba Prefecture in addition to Katori Shrine. Police obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, a Japanese physician residing within the United States, on suspicion of damaging buildings.
