Japanese airways cease requiring masks on board from March 13

TOKYO, Feb 22 (Nikkei) –
Japanese airways will not require passengers to put on face masks on flights, beginning March 13.

The Airline Association of Japan, which has 19 members together with ANA and JAL, introduced Tuesday that it’s going to go away it as much as particular person passengers whether or not to put on masks on board planes and at airports. The resolution follows the federal government’s downgrading of COVID-19 underneath the Infectious Disease Control Law. The coverage will even apply to passengers and airline workers.
