Wakayam [Japan], April 15 (ANI): Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida was on Saturday evacuated from a venue in Wakayama metropolis, after an explosion was heard, Japan public media NHK reported.
As per Japanese officers, Kishida was secure and unhurt within the incident.
Video footage launched by NHK confirmed members of the general public fleeing and a person being arrested following the incident.
Kishida was about to present an outside speech on the venue on the Japanese port metropolis when in line with NHK, an “explosion-like sound” was heard on the scene.
An NHK reporter current on the scene stated it’s “believed that something was thrown in and exploded”, CNN reported.
