Tokyo [Japan], July 3 (ANI): An explosion was reported from in a constructing within the bustling Shimbashi district of Tokyo and based on footage from the location smoke was seen billowing out from the location, Japan-based Kyodo News reported on Monday.
According to police cited by NHK-World Japan, 4 persons are being handled for minor accidents. Two are staff from the restaurant the place the explosion is believed to have taken place, whereas the opposite two are passersby.
An eyewitness made an emergency name to the police at round 3:15 pm (native time).
Police stated that fireside erupted on the second ground of the constructing, Kyodo News reported.
The web site, positioned round 300 metres west of JR Shimbashi Station, is an space filled with eateries and companies, the report stated.
NHK-World Japan cited an eyewitness who had posted a video of the fireplace on social media.
“I suddenly heard an explosion so I looked on the road and there were things scattered everywhere,” he stated.
A supervisor of a close-by Italian restaurant, cited by NHK-World Japan stated that he heard the sound of the explosion from inside and thought it was earthquake. “Then I went outside and saw a fire on the second floor of the building” he was cited within the report. (ANI)
