TOKYO, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) — Japan Airlines (JAL) mentioned Thursday that its system community has been below a cyberattack, with not less than 9 home and a few worldwide flights delayed.
The airline mentioned system issues occurred at 7:24 a.m. native time (2224 GMT on Wednesday) and it has already been seeing a malfunction within the system managing passengers’ baggage.
The JAL will halt gross sales of tickets for home and worldwide flights for the remainder of the day.
“We apologize for the inconvenience it has caused,” the JAL mentioned in a submit on social media X.
