Nagoya [Japan], September 19 (ANI): The India males’s cricket staff will put on the BCCI jersey for its historic One-Off T20I match in opposition to Japan, whereas the staff has obtained its official Asian Games equipment for the rest of the event, a Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) supply instructed ANI on Saturday.
‘Team India will put on the BCCI jersey for the match in opposition to Japan. The staff has obtained its Asian Games equipment for the remainder of the event, and the problem has been resolved,’ the MYAS supply mentioned.
The twentieth Asian Games are being held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, from September 19 to October 4, with India collaborating throughout 36 sports activities. India, who clinched the Gold medal within the earlier version of Asian Games will play their first match on the 2026 version on September 28 within the quarter-final stage.
The MYAS supply additional clarified that the match in opposition to Japan is a pleasant fixture and isn’t a part of the Asian Games competitors, which is why the staff will play in its common equipment.
