New Delhi [India], March 3 (ANI): Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong on Friday lauded India as a “critical, great power” and stated the nation’s civilisation prowess introduced a contemporary perspective on coping with present points.
Wong participated within the Quad Foreign Ministers’ assembly presided by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on the sidelines of Raisina Dialogue 2023 held within the nationwide capital Delhi. “The complementarity of this configuration with the architecture of the region, I think is demonstrated from the Australian perspective by our geography and by our interest,” stated the Australian FM.
Wong stated that by way of geography, Australia is the smallest financial system, most southernmost financial system, abounded on one aspect by the Indian Ocean, the opposite aspect by the Pacific, ASEAN, and notably the northern nations of ASEAN.

Jaishankar, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi, and Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong attended the Raisina Dialogue 2023 in Delhi organised by the Ministry of External Affairs and the ORF.
Earlier Blinken acknowledged that the Indo-Pacific area will form the trajectory of the world within the twenty first century.

Together, we recognize the Indo-Pacific region will shape the trajectory of the world in the 21st century and are committed to safeguarding its peace, stability, and growing prosperity,” tweeted Blinken forward of the Quad assembly.
