Tokyo’s Haneda Airport reopened the International Flight Area in Terminal 2 on Wednesday. That part of the terminal was shut down, as a result of coronavirus pandemic.
Terminal 2 is considered one of Haneda Airport’s home terminals. The International Flight Area was opened in March of 2020 to extend the variety of worldwide flights on the airport.
But the pandemic compelled airport authorities to shut the realm simply two weeks after it began working.
After that, solely Terminal 3 was used for worldwide flights. The airport’s operator determined to reopen the International Flight Area as a result of demand for worldwide flights has been rising.
For the time being, the International Flight Area is just open 8.5 hours a day. It closes at 1:30 p.m. A scarcity of airport workers members, who can perform baggage inspections, is among the many causes cited.
