The authorities has submitted to the Diet a proposal to nominate economist Kazuo Ueda, a former deliberative committee member of the Bank of Japan, as the brand new governor of the Bank of Japan.
He additionally proposed to nominate Ryozo Himino, former Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency, and Shinichi Uchida, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Japan, as the 2 Deputy Governors.
