Germany Surpasses Japan in 2023 Nominal GDP

The Cabinet Office introduced that Japan’s nominal GDP in 2023 fell to fourth place globally, overtaken by Germany, in dollar phrases, partly resulting from a continued downturn in private consumption, influenced by rising costs.
