FUKUI, Mar 18 (News On Japan) –
Coinciding with the extension of the Hokuriku Shinkansen to Fukui, often known as the “Dinosaur Kingdom,” native shrines have launched new goshuin (crimson stamps) that includes dinosaur designs.
At Asuwa Shrine in Fukui City, guests can obtain a goshuin modeled after the “Archaeopteryx,” often known as the “first bird.” According to shrine officers, over 20 individuals go to each day to gather this distinctive goshuin, with some having already collected related stamps from a number of shrines.
A vacationer from Shiga Prefecture commented, “It encourages us to revisit various shrines, not just for this trip but in the future as well.”
The “goryuin” stamps can be found from March sixteenth at 34 shrines throughout Fukui Prefecture.
