A cargo of reprocessed nuclear gasoline arrived within the early hours of Wednesday on the French port metropolis of Cherbourg, in response to an AFP photographer, certain for Japan for use in an influence plant.

The load of extremely radioactive Mox, a combination of reprocessed plutonium and uranium, was transported in a single day from a plant within the Hague in safe containers on two vans, the French nuclear know-how group Orano stated.

Mox consists of 92 % uranium oxide and eight % plutonium oxide, in response to Orano. The plutonium “is not the same as that used by the military,” it stated.
