Former Deputy Minister Kakizawa has no intention of taking up the district mayor’s election, writes letter to supporters’ affiliation | NHK

Vice Minister of Justice Mizuaki Kakizawa, whose native workplace was searched by the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office Special Investigation Department on suspicion of violating the Public Offices Election Act in reference to the mayoral election in Tokyo’s Koto Ward held in April this 12 months, was arrested by an individual affiliated with the help group.
