HOKKAIDO –
A hearth broke out at a Buddhist temple in Obihiro, Hokkaido, on June thirteenth, sending flames hovering from the constructing and inflicting non permanent alarm in a close-by residential neighborhood earlier than being largely extinguished about two hours later.
The hearth occurred at Naritasan Shokoji Temple, positioned in Higashi 6-jo Minami 6-chome in Obihiro.
Witnesses reported seeing intense flames rising from contained in the construction. At round 2:30 p.m., a bystander known as emergency providers, reporting that flames have been seen from the south facet of the constructing.
Firefighters labored to include the blaze, and the hearth was largely extinguished roughly two hours after it was reported.
No accidents have been reported on account of the hearth.
Police and hearth authorities are investigating the reason for the blaze.
The temple is positioned in a residential district about 1.5 kilometers northeast of JR Obihiro Station, and the incident briefly precipitated appreciable concern amongst native residents.
