The Wakayama District Court delivered a not-guilty verdict on December twelfth within the trial of the previous spouse of a Wakayama-based rich man, popularly generally known as the ‘Don Juan of Kishu,’ who had been accused of homicide and different fees.
According to the indictment, Sudo Saki was accused of killing her husband, Nozaki Kosuke, who was 77 on the time, by administering a deadly dose of stimulant medication at his residence in Tanabe City in May 2018.
Prosecutors had sought a life sentence, asserting Sudo was answerable for ordering and receiving the medication. However, throughout the December twelfth courtroom ruling, the Wakayama District Court identified that the stimulant medication allegedly ordered by Sudo may need been rock sweet as an alternative.
The courtroom additional said that Nozaki may have independently obtained stimulant medication from one other supply. It concluded that the potential of Nozaki unintentionally overdosing on stimulants couldn’t be dominated out and subsequently handed down a not-guilty verdict.
