Drunk Tokyo cop who stole bicycle: ‘I wanted to go home early and sleep’ – TokyoReporter

TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have suspended a male police sergeant for allegedly stealing a bicycle in Chiba Prefecture and attempting to pedal house whereas intoxicated, stories TV Asahi (June 21).

On Friday, the division imposed a three-month suspension on the unnamed sergeant, 30, from the Shibuya Police Station. However, he selected to resign the identical day. He was referred to prosecutors final month.
