A one-year-old boy tragically choked on daycare meals in Sapporo, Hokkaido, on October twenty third, resulting in his premature loss of life, daycare officers confirmed in a press convention on November fifteenth.

The daycare, identified for its in-house meal preparation by a devoted nutritionist, offered home made meals and snacks. On the day of the incident, the menu reportedly included meat-based dishes. It is believed that the boy choked on the meat.
Parents voiced considerations, stating that serving meat to such younger kids was inappropriate. One father or mother shared, “I thought it was too early to serve items like meat or spinach, even if labeled as baby food.”
