Hiroo Yano, the founding father of the 100-yen store chain Daiso, operated by Daisho Industries, has handed away. He was 80 years previous. Born in Beijing, China, in 1943, Yano based the predecessor to Daiso, “Yano Store,” in 1972.
Yano, the founding father of Daisho Industries, died of coronary heart failure in Higashihiroshima City on February twelfth.
In 1991, he opened the primary straight managed Daiso retailer in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, and started full-scale chain enlargement.
Daisho Industries commented, “We will continue to grow with strong unity, inheriting the spirit of Hiroo Yano, who always had a grateful heart and continued to innovate.”
