The Eastern Theater Command, which has jurisdiction over Taiwan within the Chinese army, introduced that it’ll conduct patrols and army workouts round Taiwan from the eighth to the tenth. It is seen as a countermeasure to the assembly between President Tsai Ing-wen of Taiwan and Speaker of the US House of Representatives McCarthy.
