Russian state news company TASS reported that Chinese President Xi Jinping stated he was making ready to welcome Putin in October when he met with Russia’s Senate Speaker in Beijing on Monday.

If President Putin visits China, it will likely be his first go to because the Beijing Olympics in February final 12 months.
