BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) — China and Japan will maintain the fifteenth spherical of high-level consultations on maritime affairs on April 10 in Tokyo, a Chinese overseas ministry spokesperson mentioned Friday.
Spokesperson Mao Ning informed a press briefing that officers from overseas ministries, protection ministries, maritime regulation enforcement, and ocean administration departments from each nations would attend the talks.
The high-level consultations are a complete mechanism for bilateral communication and coordination.
“China expects to fully exchange views with Japan on sea-related issues between the two countries to enhance mutual understanding and trust,” Mao mentioned, including that China will promote correct administration of variations and pragmatic cooperation.
