Asian Dust reaches Japan for first time in two years

A meteorological phenomenon often called Asian Dust, or yellow sand, coated the skies of Niigata on Friday, the primary such commentary in Japan since May 2021.

According to Wikipedia, the mud originates within the deserts of China, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan, the place high-speed floor winds and intense mud storms kick up dense clouds of superb, dry soil particles. These clouds are then carried eastward by prevailing winds and go over China, North and South Korea, and Japan, in addition to elements of the Russian Far East.
