Arrested Harajuku retailer supervisor for possession of luxurious model faux hats on the market | NHK

At a clothes retailer in Harajuku, Tokyo, a 33-year-old retailer supervisor was arrested by the Metropolitan Police Department for hiding faux hats from abroad luxurious manufacturers for the aim of promoting them. Investigators say he denies the costs.

Taizo Ichimura (33), the supervisor of a clothes retailer in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, was arrested.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, on the twenty sixth, a clothes retailer in Harajuku, Tokyo is suspected of violating the trademark regulation by hiding two counterfeit hats from the abroad luxurious model “Balenciaga” for the aim of promoting.

From March to April this 12 months, the Metropolitan Police Department was investigating after receiving a session from a highschool pupil who was visiting Tokyo for sightseeing that he could have been compelled to purchase faux garments bought at this retailer.

In response to the investigation, he denied the costs, saying, “I am a hired store manager, and the owner is doing the purchasing. I didn’t know it was a fake.”

About 200 branded faux garments have been discovered within the retailer, and the Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the main points.
