According to Ministry of Defense officers, round 4:30 pm on the sixth, the shadow of a Ground Self-Defense Force helicopter flying round Miyako Island in Okinawa Prefecture disappeared from the radar, and the Self-Defense Force is looking for it. The helicopter was a “UH60” and it’s believed that a number of members have been on board.
The helicopter belongs to the eighth Squadron of the Ground Self-Defense Force Takayubaru Camp in Kumamoto Prefecture.
