Streaming platform Apple TV+ has introduced a four-part documentary collection on Argentina’s World Cup-winning captain Lionel Messi.
The service stated the collection would function “exclusive behind-the-scenes access” to the soccer megastar, who scored seven targets as Argentina lifted the World Cup in Qatar in December.
“In his own words, Messi tells the definitive story of his incredible career with the Argentina national football team, providing an intimate and unprecedented look at his quest for a legacy-defining World Cup victory,” Apple TV+ stated in an announcement.
No broadcast date was given for the documentary, which shall be produced by Smuggler Entertainment and was filmed in Paris, Qatar and Argentina.
The collection will retrace Messi’s worldwide profession, beginning together with his debut for Argentina in 2005 when he was despatched off two minutes after approaching in its place and together with defeat within the 2014 World Cup last.
It will culminate with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner’s lifting of soccer’s final prize final 12 months at his fifth World Cup.
Messi, 35, left Paris Saint-Germain earlier this month following two seasons through which he scored 32 targets in 75 appearances and received two Ligue 1 titles.
He has not introduced which membership facet he’ll play for subsequent, with reviews and a supply near the negotiations suggesting he may quickly signal a profitable contract to play in Saudi Arabia.
