An extraordinarily uncommon golden snake has been sighted in Kitakyushu City. The snake is recognized as a Takachiho snake, an endangered nocturnal species native to Fukuoka Prefecture and different areas. Typically brown, this specimen is an albino, missing pigmentation.

Albino snakes are often unable to mix into the wild and are extra inclined to predators, making it a miracle that this one has survived to maturity.

Takaya Uzawa, the director of the Kitakyushu Hotaru Museum, stated, ‘When I first noticed the picture, my legs trembled. I could not consider such a creature existed on this planet.’

The snake is at present being saved on the Kitakyushu Hotaru Museum and is scheduled to be on everlasting show by the summer season holidays.
