The former secretary-general of the All Japan Private Kindergarten Association, which has about 7,500 personal kindergartens nationwide, has been charged with embezzlement in the midst of enterprise for embezzling money from the affiliation’s account. He, the previous secretary-general, admitted what was indicted.
Defendant Norio Katsukura (49), former secretary-general of the All Japan Federation of Private Kindergartens, is accused of embezzling greater than 62 million yen in whole by repeatedly withdrawing money from the federation’s accounts over the course of two years from 2018. He has been charged with embezzlement and forgery of non-public paperwork.
At the primary trial held on the Tokyo District Court on the 18th, the previous secretary normal stated, “There is no doubt,” and admitted the indictment.
In the opening assertion, the prosecution stated, “I spent all of the embezzled money on overseas trips with my girlfriend and on the purchase of luxury brand bags.
