Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 15 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the ‘Kishau Multipurpose Dam Project’, describing it as a landmark milestone towards water safety and a strong manifestation of cooperative federalism.
The MoU was signed in New Delhi amongst six riparian states-Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Haryana-under the chairmanship of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, within the presence of Union Minister for Jal Shakti C.R. Paatil.
Taking to social media platform X, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath credited the management of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for turning the long-pending decision into actuality.
