Osaka man accused of stomping 80-year-old mom to dying blames ‘caregiver stress’ – TokyoReporter

OSAKA (TR) – Osaka Prefectural Police have arrested a 58-year-old unemployed man on suspicion of harm leading to dying after he allegedly stomped his aged mom to dying, studies the Asahi Shimbun (Aug. 9).

Yoshiki Tsurino, a resident of the city of Misaki, is accused of inflicting deadly accidents on his 80-year-old mom, Chizuyo Hirota, through the early hours of July 10.

According to the Sennan Police Station, Tsurino stomped on his mom a number of instances between 2:30 a.m. and a couple of:50 a.m., breaking eight of her ribs. She subsequently died from traumatic shock.

Tsurino and his mom lived alone. Police revealed that Hirota suffered from age-related mobility points, leaving Tsurino as her sole, unaided caregiver.

During questioning, the suspect confessed to a grim routine of elder abuse. “I repeatedly assaulted her on a daily basis due to caregiver stress,” Tsurino instructed investigators.
