TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly threatening a girl in her 20s with a utility knife in a park in Tachikawa City final month, stories Nippon News Network (Mar. 24).
Early on February 22, Taketo Kitaguchi, an organization worker, allegedly brandished the knife in threatening the lady, aged in her 20s, as she commuted residence within the park.
He then stole her smartphone and tried to pull her right into a public restroom to sexually assault her.
Upon his arrest, Kitaguchi, who lives in Tachikawa, denied the fees. He stated, “I didn’t do it.”
According to police, Kitaguchi adopted the lady together with his automobile for greater than 1 kilometer from close to Tachikawa Station earlier than committing the crime.
Kitaguchi fled when the lady resisted and screamed loudly. He later returned to the park after altering garments to retrieve his automobile.
Police have seized the garments he was sporting on the time and the utility knife from his residence.
