Traffic on eastbound Interstate 70 in Aurora was delivered to a standstill Thursday evening after Denver police chased down a suspect in a stolen car who ran over an officer’s foot, officers stated.
The freeway was closed at Interstate 225 at 4:51 p.m., in line with the Colorado Department of Transportation. One lane reopened as of 6:15 p.m. and the freeway was totally reopen by 7:30 p.m.
