TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police have arrested an American man who’s suspected of driving a stolen truck concerned in a collection of hit-and-run incidents over the weekend, reviews TBS News (Feb. 16).
According to police, the unnamed American, aged in his 40, was driving within the truck, which was stolen from Chiyoda Ward, on February 14.
That truck was concerned a collection of hit-and-run incidents in Bunkyo and Taito wards and different areas. There have been no accidents in any of the incidents.
Upon his arrest on suspicion of hit-and-run, the American denied the allegations. “I was hallucinating,” he advised police.
After the incidents, the American deserted the truck in Edogawa and fled on foot. He was later apprehended at a close-by comfort retailer.
Tokyo police had been questioning the person up till his arrest on Tuesday.
