It appears all people needs Nobody Wants This because the Netflix dramedy surged to the highest of Nielsen’s Top 10 Overall Streaming chart for the week of October 27.
However, Season 2 of the Netflix sequence, starring Adam Brody and Kristen Bell, completed under the billion-viewing-minute mark, with 919 million minutes. Of that viewing time, 83% belonged to the present season, with the Adults 32-64 demo accounting for 58% of the watch time.
According to Nielsen Streaming Content Ratings, an action-packed sporting calendar that includes the NFL, NBA, and MLB, together with the World Series, steered viewers away from streaming. This was the second time in October that no title crossed the billion viewing minutes mark. Netflix had seven titles within the chart, two of which had shared distribution rights.
The Witcher landed at No. 2 with 837 million minutes considered on Netflix. Once once more, the Adults 35-64 demo was the driving power in watch time, making up 66%.
It was adopted by the Netflix film A House of Dynamite, which jumped from sixth to 3rd with 825 million viewing minutes. Taking fourth was Grey’s Anatomy, up from fifth with 787 million minutes considered.
Rounding out the highest 5 was The Diplomat, which dropped from its first-place perch per week earlier with 742 million viewing minutes for the week of October 27.
Dropping two spots to land at No. 6 was the shared title NCIS, between Hulu, Netflix, Pluto, and Paramount+, with 730 million viewing minutes. It was adopted by Bob’s Burgers, which continues its ascent, occupying seventh place with 683 million minutes considered.
After just a few weeks out of the highest 10, Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters claws its approach again to the chart with 674 million viewing minutes at No. 8. Disney+’s Bluey climbs one spot to take ninth with 643 million minutes considered.
Closing out the chart and dropping three spots to No. 10 was the procedural drama Law & Order, shared between Hulu and Peacock, with 641 million viewing minutes.
