In town of Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture, the annual Tulip Festival is underway, charming guests with fields of vibrant tulips on the peak of their bloom.
Around 500,000 tulips of roughly 300 varieties are in full bloom within the Tanto space of Toyooka, the place native residents have been planting and caring for the flowers in preparation for this seasonal occasion.
A significant spotlight this 12 months is a large-scale floral artwork set up depicting Dekopin, the canine of Major League Baseball star Shohei Ohtani, rendered totally with tulips.
Visitors had been delighted by the show, with one saying, “Dekopin! It’s blooming so beautifully and looks adorable.” Another added, “It was even more beautiful than I imagined.” When requested if their baby was having fun with it, a dad or mum responded, “Yes, definitely.”
