Large-Scale Solar Panel Project in Nara Canceled

NARA, Feb 02 (News On Japan) –
Nara Governor Yamashita has introduced the cancellation of a large-scale solar energy undertaking in Gojo City, citing the shortcoming to safe native consent. The undertaking, initially proposed as an alternative choice to a beforehand deliberate 2,000-meter runway, was meant to assist energy provide stability throughout disasters and embrace a disaster-response heliport.

In January final 12 months, Yamashita determined to scrap the runway undertaking, which had been promoted by his predecessor, in favor of the solar energy and heliport initiative.
