Special Investigation Department arbitrarily interviews 5 LDP factions, accused of not reporting social gathering ticket revenue | NHK

A grievance was filed alleging that political teams from 5 factions of the Liberal Democratic Party did not document a complete of roughly 40 million yen of their revenue and expenditure reviews, together with the names of teams that spent greater than 200,000 yen on political social gathering funds. Interviews with individuals concerned revealed that the Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office’s Special Investigation Department has requested voluntary interviews with representatives of 5 factional teams and is continuing with the interviews.
