An undervalued yen poses issues for the Bank of Japan

Japan’s change charge surroundings made an enormous turnaround in 2022, when the yen started to depreciate sharply. When it exceeded 145 yen towards the US dollar by September 2022, after which 150 yen in October, the Ministry of Finance performed two rounds of overseas change interventions.
