Guerrilla thunderstorm causes panic in road of Roppongi

TOKYO, Oct 26 (News On Japan) –
A sudden downpour of huge hailstones accompanied by loud thunder despatched a wave of panic in Roppongi on Wednesday evening.

Atmospheric situations grew to become unstable from Western to Northern Japan on Oct 25, resulting in localized, intense thunderstorms.

Pedestrians within the middle of Tokyo unexpectedly took shelter below buildings as giant hailstones pelted the bottom.

The roads grew to become as white as if coated with snow. From the highest of the hill, an enormous quantity of ice flowed down, paying homage to a “river of hail”.
