Singer Osman Mir grateful to PM Modi for choosing his tune for G20 dinner

New Delhi [India], September 10 (ANI): Singer Osman Mir whose tune was performed on the gala dinner for world leaders attending the G20 Summit stated it was a cheerful second as Gujarati tradition and people music was displayed on such an enormous stage.

World leaders on the G20 summit savoured India’s musical heritage throughout the dinner hosted for them on Saturday by President Murmu. The musical extravaganza showcased a mix of classical and modern music at Bharat Mandapam, venue of the G20 Summit.

“I am extremely thankful to PM Modi for selecting my song and this is a very happy moment for me that our Gujarati culture and our folk music has been displayed on such a huge stage. This was a surprise and a gift for me to know that my song would be played in front of PM Modi and President Droupadi Murmu,” Mir advised ANI.

Musical performances from 78 artists showcased India’s wealthy musical heritage utilizing Hindustani, Carnatic, and people devices on the G20 dinner party hosted by President Murmu.
