In Kawashima, Anamizu Town, Ishikawa Prefecture, a home collapsed because of a landslide attributable to the earthquake on the first of this month, and as of 9:30 a.m. on the sixth, not less than 9 persons are believed to be trapped.
According to Anamizu Town, the 9 persons are family members, together with an 8-year-old boy, two youngsters, two women and men, two males of their 20s, three women and men of their 50s, and one man in his 70s. It is alleged that some folks have been caught in landslides whereas returning house.
Police and fireplace providers are persevering with rescue operations on the scene.
