TOKYO, April 29 (Xinhua) — A complete of 48 folks landed in Tokyo on Saturday morning after evacuating from conflict-ravaged Sudan to close by Djibouti.
The Japanese government-chartered flight carrying the batch, together with each Japanese nationals and their relations, left Djibouti on Friday, in response to the Foreign Ministry.
As of Friday, 65 Japanese nationals and their relations of different nationalities have fled the northeast African nation. Some have returned to Japan by non-public means, the ministry mentioned.
A rising variety of international locations have evacuated residents from Sudan since fierce clashes broke out between the Sudanese military and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces in mid-April.
