On a snowy day, a canine that adores the snow was out for a stroll. With every step, it eagerly plunged its face into the fluffy white powder. Seemingly enchanted by the texture of snow, the canine repeatedly buried its face, placing its stroll on maintain.
So, what drives this peculiar habits?
According to canine coach Masaki Kanoy, this motion is likely to be an expression of a canine’s looking instincts. “They seem to be searching for something in the snow. Although most dogs are not fond of getting wet and may not typically enjoy snow, this dog might be an exception. Perhaps it has been around snow since it was young and is comfortable with it. Even though domesticated dogs don’t hunt, their instincts remain.”
This habits was noticed in a four-year-old Shiba Inu named Azuki. Despite the domestication of canines and the cessation of looking actions, it appears their innate instincts persist.
