Wakayama –
A spectacular illumination of the Hashigui Rocks, a nationally designated pure monument in Kushimoto, Wakayama Prefecture, is about to start on October 30, reworking a collection of bizarre coastal rock formations into a colourful nighttime attraction.
A trial lighting was held on October 29 forward of the official opening, with roughly 40 rock formations of varied sizes, rising dramatically from the ocean alongside the shoreline, illuminated in vivid shades of blue and orange after sundown.
The colourful lights created a幻想ical environment, highlighting the distinctive shapes of the rocks in opposition to the darkish sea.
The illumination will proceed by November 1, with the lights switched on every night from 5:30 p.m. to eight:30 p.m.
