Vietnamese nabbed over marijuana rising operation in 3 prefectures

SAITAMA (TR) – As part of an investigation that spanned one 12 months, legislation enforcement has arrested six Vietnamese women and men for allegedly cultivating and possessing roughly 2,000 marijuana crops in three prefectures.

According to police, a 450-square-meter one-story warehouse in Koga City, Ibaraki Prefecture, was utilized by the suspects as one of many largest marijuana rising factories in Japan. The inside was outfitted with lights and blowers for cultivation, and the perimeter was surrounded by white boards, maybe to forestall it from being seen from the skin.

After seizing round 1,500 crops in April, Saitama Prefectural Police arrested the six Vietnamese nationals, together with Dinh Trung Phuong, 32, on suspicion of violating the Cannabis Control Law. The suspects are accused of cultivating and possessing marijuana on the market on the warehouse.

The six are believed to be part of a marijuana trafficking group. The existence of the ring surfaced when crops have been found after a hearth broke out inside one other warehouse in Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture in May of final 12 months.

The course of the investigation led to further discoveries in Noda City, Chiba Prefecture and the aforementioned location in Koga, which Dinh had rented out since final September.
