In the city of Taiji in Wakayama Prefecture, generally known as the ‘whale city,’ two whales have been relocated forward of the official seashore opening to arrange for a particular summer time occasion.
A male and a feminine melon-headed whale named Shiro and Cosmo, housed on the Taiji Whale Museum, have been transferred on Friday to a close-by seashore for the occasion titled “Beach Where You Can Meet Whales.”
Carefully monitored by handlers, the practically 3-meter-long whales have been moved with shut consideration to their well being and stress ranges.
