Tokyo subway sarin assault remembered 28 years on

People in Tokyo are remembering the victims of the lethal sarin fuel assault on town’s subway system almost three a long time in the past.

On March 20, 1995, members of the Aum Shinrikyo cult launched the poisonous nerve fuel inside packed rush hour subway automobiles on three traces in central Tokyo. Fourteen individuals died and about 6,300 others had been injured.

At Kasumigaseki subway station on Monday, workers noticed a second of silence at 8 a.m., virtually the precise time of the assault.
