Tokyo Metro introduced on April eighth that it has entered right into a capital and enterprise alliance with Fit, an operator of 24-hour unmanned gyms, investing 1.5 billion yen as a part of efforts to diversify income past its core railway operations.
The firm had already joined the franchise chain of “LifeFit,” operated by Fit, in March 2025, opening three areas in Tokyo.
Looking forward, Tokyo Metro goals to increase the enterprise to twenty retailers by the tip of fiscal 2027, with plans to develop the community to round 50 areas within the coming years, positioning the health enterprise as a brand new pillar of non-railway earnings.
