Prosecutors have dropped expenses towards YouTuber ‘Tokorozawa Tyson’ who was arrested earlier this month for threatening a male acquaintance.
‘Tokorozawa Tyson’, whose actual identify is Hiromi Kubo, was charged with threatening a male acquaintance in his 30s in November 2022, saying over the cellphone, “If you mess with me again, I’ll kill you.”
According to police, Kubo reacted angrily to the person addressing him as ‘kun’, an informal title often connected to the top of a youthful man’s identify, threatening him underneath the false perception that he had inspired others to make use of this casual handle.
During the investigation, Kubo partially denying the allegations, stating, “I said those things, but it was meant as ‘stop messing with me,’ not as a threat to kill.”
The Saitama District Public Prosecutors Office selected Thursday to not prosecute the 41-year-old man.
